Amazing Staff
Our staff are trained to provide a safe place for your children and pride ourselves on a family-oriented environment. All staff are CPR/First Aid certified, mandatory reporters for child abuse, trained in Universal Precautions, take Childcare Essentials training, and have six hours of continued learning every year. They also must pass a background check.

Marion Director- Sara Jones
I have been a director at Apple Kids for eight years and have been at each of our three locations throughout my adventures here. I am passionate about providing a loving place for young children to grow and learn new things and also establishing a supportive relationship with their families. Providing an active and fun environment is an important part of our days at Apple Kids
Cedar Rapids Director- Hailey Stone
I started at Apple Kids back in 2009 and became director of our Cedar Rapids location in 2015. I pride myself on developing long lasting relationships with not only the children but their parents as well. Watching them grow throughout the years has been a truly amazing part of my life. Apple Kids is like a second home for the kids where they know they are welcome and loved. Providing high quality care to the community is our ultimate goal.
Owner- Kendran Sizemore
My name is Kendran and I am the owner of Apple Kids. My husband is Jeff and we have 5 children, ranging in ages 8-23. Along with the 3 centers and all their activities, we are a very busy family! I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Child and Family Services in 2000. I started as the Director of Apple Kids in 2001 and I became owner in 2009. I always wanted a place for parents to drop off their kids and know they are safe and loved while working, and this is what we aim to do at Apple Kids.
